Greeks Movers and Shakers is program run on move in day to help new students and their families make a smooth transition into college life.

Over 250 students volunteer each year to lug up pillows, frames and futons.  The energy and enthusiasm from the volunteers is truly a representation of how extraordinary Cornell Greeks are dedicated to giving back.

Any new beginning can be full of mixed emotions and all of the volunteers are there to answer questions and make the experience one for the freshman to never forget.  Dressed in tee shits and armed with plenty of water the Greeks volunteer for over eight hours to help thousands of students move in.  This is also a huge help to the Orientation Steering Committee because the extra hands help them tremendously with the move in efforts.
